What is Trioctyl phthalate(TOTM)?

Trioctyl phthalate(TOTM),It is a transparent oily liquid, slightly soluble in water, and soluble in most organic solvents. TOTM is produced from phthalic anhydride as raw material.

TOTM has advantages such as good heat resistance, oil resistance, migration resistance, electrical insulation, compatibility, low volatility, and processability. In addition, TOTM can also be used as a plasticizer for resins such as polymethyl methacrylate, nitrocellulose, and ethyl cellulose.
